Competition radiator kit for the BMW F87 M2
The BMW M2 Competition's 3.0-liter S55B30 turbocharged engine features an indirect charge air cooling system. This means that the charge air isn't cooled by ambient air (as is typical), but rather by its own dedicated water cooling circuit. A lower coolant temperature directly translates to improved charge air cooling performance. This is precisely where the advantages of the WAGNERTUNING upgrade water cooler come into play.
The new competition cores of WAGNERTUNING's high-performance water coolers increase the radiator volume of OEM water coolers by 89% for front-mounted units and 94% for side-mounted units. The calculated ratio of internal to external cooling surface area generates maximum heat transfer while simultaneously allowing sufficient airflow for surrounding components (e.g., the engine water cooler) to exchange heat. The water coolers are equipped with a heat-conducting, corrosion-resistant coating to ensure long-lasting cooling performance. Installation of the system is virtually plug-and-play and straightforward (installation instructions are included).
