The Gintani F80x crank hub is the only one-piece crank hub on the market. This product provides added protection against the risk of crank hub slippage or rotation, leading to misalignment of the relative angles between the crankshaft and camshafts (this can result in engine failure, with replacements costing over €20,000, or at the very least, leaving you stranded and unable to drive until the crank hub is replaced and the engine is resynchronized). This SCH failure has been observed on both modified and stock S55 engines. If you modify your car, track your car, or even drive aggressively, upgrading your crank hub is highly recommended.
