Constructed from 100% TIG-welded 304 stainless steel, we have created a modular exhaust system that will provide ample flow to support power levels far exceeding those of the stock S55.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e \u003cspan\u003eThe stock S55 Midpipe is a dual-pipe system with each turbo leading to the rear muffler. The resulting sound is far from pleasant, and without proper trapping, turbo lag is quite pronounced. By converting to a single 3.5-inch pipe directly after the downpipes, our system promotes exhaust trapping as well as higher exhaust velocity to produce a faster spool-up, more power, and a much smoother exhaust note.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e \u003cbr\u003eWe believe we've built the highest-performing exhaust on the market. Thanks to reduced backpressure and the large single-pipe design, you can expect exhaust velocity to remain as high as possible throughout the entire system. Our design is also capable of handling significantly higher power levels than stock. It's over-engineered to handle the increased exhaust volume resulting from major modifications, including turbo upgrades, without any issues. All Active Autowerke exhausts are designed and manufactured for performance, and our S55 exhaust is no different.
